Combinations that beat two pairs

If you listen to the different calculations, the probability of collecting a combination of two pairs is about 40%. However, there is no reason to get excited, because there is a pattern in poker: the more often a combination falls out, the lower its strength. A set of two pairs is just the third strongest, behind 7 other combinations.

• Three of a kind

The first combination in seniority right after two pairs is three of a kind. A set composed of three cards of the same type (three sevens). A three of a kind  is a good combination in a poker hand, which can bring in impressive profits. 

• Straight

The straight is a solid middle card with which the odds of winning increase. The combination is a line of five cards in order. The most interesting thing about this combination is that the suits don’t matter. The peculiarity of the combination is the ace. He can be either the highest card of the straight or the lowest.

• Flush

A flush is the combination with which players usually go all the way. In any type of poker, a flush is a hand made up of five one-suit cards. The only thing that matters is the suit, not the cards of what rank are involved. However, it is still not the last combination what beats two pair in poker

• Full House.

Another prestigious combination that includes two combinations at once: a pair and three of a kind (7-7-7-4-4). In the case where Full House goes to not one but two contestants – the strength of the hand is determined by the seniority of the included three of a kind.

• Four of a kind

Four of a kind is a combination containing four cards of equal value and one arbitrary card.

This hand is one of the most powerful after the well-known royal flush and straight flush.

• Straight Flush

This hand is a winning hand almost 100% of the time, but it is very rare to get it. Combination includes a flush and a straight at the same time, but the ace is irrelevant, unlike a royal flush. One example of a straight flush is a ten, nine, eight, seven and six of the same suit.

• Royal Flush. 

Royal Flush is the dream of many players, because it automatically provides the gambler with victory. Every pokerist believes that at least once in his career he will collect a winning set of cards. The flush royal combination is made up of five cards of the same suit, starting with a ten and ending, respectively, with an ace.
